Q. The green power switch and the green run light are not lit. What do I need to check? A. Check the 240VAC power going to L and N. Make sure the run/stop switch is in RUN mode.
Q. If the alarm light on the inverter is lit but there is no alarm condition, how can I turn it off? A. Power down for a full 30 seconds and power back up, this will clear the alarm condition.
Q. Which LED lights should be lit on the ACS-50 CPU board? A. In the ACS-50 control panel manual, revision 1.0, page 13 details which LED lights should be lit when the door is in the open position. This will allow you to isolate the defective or problem component by following the chart and the corresponding LED lights.
Q. How do I adjust limits? A. In the ACS-50 control panel manual, revision 1.0, page 14, and page 16, details the location and the adjustments needed to align the cams to the proper limit locations.
Q. Where do I wire my accessories on the ACS-50 control panel? A. In the ACS-50 control panel manual, revision 1.0, page 28, details the terminal locations for the wiring of actuating accessories.
Q. If the door will not close, and I have the ACS50 control panel, what do I need to check? A. Make sure that LED 1 is not lit, if it is check all actuators to ensure they are functioning properly. LED 6 should not be lit, if it is check the reversing edge and wiring. LED 7 should be lit, if it is not check the photocell for power and alignment. LED 15 should be lit, if not used should be a jumper wire in between 21A and 23A, if photocell is wired into this location then check photocell for power and alignment.
Q. My door will not open, what do I need to check? A. Check fuses and that the door has power. Make sure the Emergency stop is not engaged.
